NotesIn 1891, Herbert Cornock, 1 year of age, was residing at 14 College street, Bristol St. Augustine, Gloucestershire, England. Other family members included: Albert Cornock, 38, painter; Annie Cornock, 7; Rosina Cornock, 35; and William H. Cornock, 3. (Source: 1891 Census of England; Class: RG12; Piece: 1965; Folio 114; Page 3; GSU roll: 6097075.)

Herbert Carnock, 9 (the passenger list gave his age as 9 and the Medical Certificate supplied stated that he was 11, but said that he was born in 1891), along with his brother, William Carnock, 13, arrived in Quebec, Canada, with a group of 31 children from the Bristol Emigration Society, Bristol, accompanied by Mrs M. E. Forster en route to Government Immigration Agent at St John, New Brunswick.

In 1901, Herbert Cornock, 12, was shown as farm help to the Manzea Green family in Wickham, Sunbury & Queens, New Brunswick. His date of birth is shown as September, 1888, and his immigration year as 1898.

Age 11, this lad is getting along nicely here. He has a comfortable home, is well used, and looks well. He is healthy and attends Baptist Church.

In 1911, Herbert CORNOCK, 18, was shown as a domestic, with the Frances McIntyre family in Sussex Parish, Sussex Corner, Kings and Albert, New Brunswick, Canada. His date of birth is shown as 1893 and his year of immigration as 1910. Herbert CORNOCK and his brother, William CORNOCK, were at adjacent farms in 1911.
