NotesA birth registration was found for William Henry Cornock; Year of Registration: 1887; Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar; District: Bristol; County: Avon, Gloucestershire; Volume: 6a; Page: 16.

In 1891, William H. Cornock, 3 years of age, was residing at 14 College street, Bristol St. Augustine, Gloucestershire, England. Other family members included: Albert Cornock, 38, painter; Annie Cornock, 7; Rosina Cornock, 35; and Herbert Cornock, 1. (Source: 1891 Census of England; Class: RG12; Piece: 1965; Folio 114; Page 3; GSU roll: 6097075.)

William Carnock, 13, along with his brother, Herbert Carnock, 9, arrived in Quebec, Canada, with a group of 31 children from the Bristol Emigration Society, Bristol, accompanied by Mrs M. E. Forster en route to Government Immigration Agent at St John, New Brunswick.

August 2 1902, with H N Arnold, Sussex, Kings, NB

Age 15, this boy is doing satisfactorily, looks well, is healthy, attends Church of England, does general chores, Mr Arnold treats him very considerately, and while at times he finds his work hard, he has no complaints. He is a slender boy but wiry. I am much pleased with the manner in which Mr Arnold speaks of him.
