NotesIn 1910, Daisy Webb, 16, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 78 Barnardo children en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

On March 26, 1919, at Brantford, Brant, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Daisy Hilda Webb, 25, widow, housekeeper, born in Southampton, England, to George Black and Rosa de Were; and Alexander Andrew Thompson-Gow, 45, widower, machinist, born in Aberdeen, Scotland, to Howard Thompson-Gow and Harriette Eliza Shott.

There were at least two children born of this marriage: Lilah Lee Thompson-Webb, born March 5, 1910, in Brantford, Brant, Ontario, Canada; died March 3, 1963, in Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona, USA; and Lillian Rose Thompson-Gow, born February 18, 1926, in Los Angeles, California, USA..

In September, 1920, Alex Thompson-Gow, 47, tinsmith, and Daisy H. Thompson-Gow, 26, along with daughter, Lila Thompson-Gow, aged 2, crossed into the United States through the port of St. Albans, Vermont. Their final destination was Los Angeles, California.

Daisy Hilda Thompson-Gow was naturalized as a United States citizen on May 11, 1926, in Los Angeles, California.
