1911 Canadian Census records place Harry Revell as a Labourer in the household of Mary Ann and George Elias Cole in Middleton. Norfolk, Ontario. Harry was 15 years of age, born in Jan 1896 and immigrated from England in 1906.

Attestation papers were signed 19 Nov 1915 in Simcoe, Ontario. Harry William Revell was born 7 Jan 1896 in London, England. He was a farmer by trade in Delhi, Ontario. His Next of Kin was his Guardian, George F Cole of Otterville, R. R. No. 2, Ontario. He had previous military experience with the 39th Regiment. 5' 9 1/4" in height with blue eyes and dark brown hair. His religion was listed as Methodist.

Commonwealth War Graves Registers and Circumstances of Casualty state that he died of wounds at Number 18 General Hospital in Camiers, Nord Pas de Calais, France. He was buried in Etaples Military Cemetery, Etaples, Nord Pas de Calais, France. Plot: XXV. N. 8.
