NotesDoris RUSCONI was born 8 October 1907. Her parents were Albino RUSCONI and Esther Bourne PALMER.

She was placed in the St. Pancras Workhouse 20 August 1908 where she lived until she sailed for Canada on 21 September 1923. She went to live with the RUDDUCK family in Nelson, BC.

On 22 February 1930 she married James Christie TAYLOR in Vancouver, BC; James was born in 1900 in Glasgow, Scotland. The marriage record states Doris' parents unknown and says "mother died when bride was born", but no matching death reg has been found.

Doris and James divorced in 1950 and she ?married Frederick Barclay (1886-1966). The death record of Frederick (6 March 1966 at Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver aged 79) shows his wife's name as Doris RUSCONI and Mrs Doris BARCLAY, wife, of 145 E. 4th Street, is the informant.

She died at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, aged 65, on 23 September 1973 as Doris TAYLOR, widow. Her husband's name on the death record is James Christie TAYLOR.
