Placed with George Smith, farmer, Kinburn, Fitzroy, Carleton, Ontario

June 25 1902
Age 15, first class home, employed at farm work, healthy, attends Presbyterian Church and Sunday School, good character, Terms-$100 on 1st April 1906 and one years schooling. Sawyer is well settled and doing splendidly. He is treated as a member of the family and they are really much attached to him. His progress and behaviour have been good. Mr Smith is a thrifty farmer and I believe will give Sawyer a good training
