NotesGeorge was one of 30 children aged 6 to 13 who arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia from Southampton aboard 'Moreton Bay' in October 1934, bound for Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra. He was aged 10.

He was engaged in 1947 but the marriage did not proceed. The engagement notice states he was second son of Mr & Mrs L. Everix of 215 St Andrews Road, Smallheath, Birmingham. He later married a divorcee in 1955.

He died 22 Feb 2010 aged 86 and is memorialised at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park (Cassia Court L2/41).
