In 1895, Charles E. Passey, 8, arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 71 children to be dispersed in the Lower provinces and en route to Fairview Home, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

In the Canadian 1901 Census, Charles Passey was shown as adopted by Abraham Harvey, 53; and Charlotte Harvey, 54, of Port Dufferin, Nova Scotia, Canada. His date of birth is shown as November 11, 1886 and his immigration year as 1895.

In 1903, Charles W. Passey entered Canada through the Port of Halifax, Nova Scotia, on the ship Canada sailing from Liverpool. He declared that he was 19; that he was born in England; that he was a clerk; and that he was bound for West Quarry, Canada.

Charles Passey, 47, arrived at Quebec, Canada, as a returned Canadian, on the ship Empress of Britain, on October 11, 1934. He declared upon landing that he was single; that he was born in Birmingham, England; that he had resided in Canada from June 1896 until August 26, 1934; that he had resided at 216 Young Street, Nova Scotia, Canada; and that he intended to remain permanently in Canada.

Charles Passey, 49, arrived in Southampton, England, on September 2, 1936, on the ship Duchess of Richmond. He declared on the manifest that he intended to visit at 50 Barna Road, Birminghham, England; that he was a clergyman; that he resided in Canada and that he intended to remain permanently in England.
