1901 English Census record for Charles D. H. Yonge as a Boarder with his brother, Geoffrey in Hampshire, England.

In 1903 Charles and Geoffrey both arrived in Canada aboard the ship Parisian. Geoffrey went West while Charles stayed in Ontario.

1910 Immigration papers show that Charles traveled to Buffalo, New York, USA.

Attestation papers for World War I signed 18 Apr 1916 in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. His current address was 441

Ontario Street, Stratford, Ontario. He was born 2 Apr 1887 in Bishops Waltham, Portsmouth, England. His Next of Kin is Water W. S. V. Yonge, his Father, in Stubbington near Farsham, Hampshire, England. His occupation was a Buffer and Polisher. 5'9" in height, grey eyes and light brown hair. His religion was listed as Church of England.

His Father's name was most likely Walter Skrimshire Vernon Yonge, but conclusive evidence was not found beyond Next of Kin listings which provided only initials.
