In 1906, Hilda Bailey, 10 (along with siblings, Elsie Bailey, 10, and Arthur Bailey, 9) arrived in Quebec, Canada, with a group of 379 children en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In 1911, Hilda Bailey, 15, is shown as a servant for James Cameron and family in Caledon, Peel, Ontario, Canada. Her date of birth is shown as July 1895 and her immigration year as 1906.

On February 1, 1916, Hilda Bailey, who resided in Alton, Ontario, Canada, was listed as next of kin to Arthur Henry Baily on his attestation papers in the Canadian Armed Forces. Private Arthur Henry Bailey died January 5, 1918 in France.
