Does not know, thinks he is about 14 years of age. unsuitable home, employed at light chores about the house, has been healthy since coming here, attends Roman Catholic Church, does not attend school, character-a good trusty lad. Terms-Board and Clothing. This lad does not appear to be happy or contented. Mr Murphy he says whips him because he says he is not smart enough. Botting complained to the Parish Priest about it and since that time has not been whipped. Mr Murphy states that he found it necessary to whip the lad, and that he is not a bright lad. He stated also he had been instructed by the Parish Priest to return the lad to the New Orpington Lodge, Hintonburgh

Age 17, very comfortable and orderly home, employed helping on the farm, very good health, attends Methodist Church, no schooling, character-said to be very disagreeable. Terms-Board and Clothes. This boy appears satisfied with his home and the treatment received. Mr McGuire and his wife freely express their dissatisfaction with the boys stubborness and are hoping to be relieved of all obligations toward him by the Spring, unless there is a change for the better.
