In 1893, Minnie Knight, 9, arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, in a group of 42 Maria Rye children en route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.

Minnie Charlotte Knight married Archie Miller Vandenburg, widower, about 1925.

On August 19, 1936, at 2371 Barker, Stamford, Welland, Ontario, Canada, Minnie Charlotte Vanderburg, 53 years of age, housewife, died of carcinoma of the transverse colon and liver failure. Her informant was her huband, Archie M. Vanderburg, who resided at Fonthill, Ontario, RRI. He stated that the name of her father was George Knight; her mother was Sarah Smith, both of England; and that her burial was on August 21, 1936 at Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.

Archie Miller Vanderburg died at Thorold, Welland, Ontario, Canada, on December 27, 1936, at the age of 57 from angina pectoris. He was buried at Fonthill, Ontario, Canada.
