NotesOne of seven siblings. James, Florence & George Dr. Barnardos. James sent to Barnardo's Russell MB home, Florence Peterborough, and George to Toronto. Sisters Nellie & Emily emigrated with Waifs & Strays going to Niagara-On-The-lake. Two other brothers Alfred and Albert where sent to a private orphanage in Kenmore Scotland. Albert emigrated as adult Alfred died WWI - France.
