In 1874, Louisa J. Sevenoakes, 16, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 32 young people en route to various destinations as labourers and domestics.

On December 24, 1875, at Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Lousia Sevenoaks, 18, born in London, England, to Lewis and Jane Emma Sevenoaks; and (John) Charles Blaylock, GTR fireman, born in Brantford, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Joseph and Ann Blaylock.

Charles and Louisa Jane Sevenoaks Blaylock had at least 8 children, all born in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada: Henry William Blaylock, born September 4, 1877; Frank Blaylock, born September 24, 1883; Florence Alice Blaylock, born April 4, 1891; and Eddie George Blaylock, born February 11, 1894; Charles A. Blaylock, born about 1880; Gertrude Anna Blaylock, born March 19, 1882; Joseph V. Blaylock, born about 1887; and Louisa Jane Blaylock, born April 22, 1889.

John Charles Blaylock died at his home at 2503 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on January 30, 1923, at the age of 69 years. The cause of death was influenza, contributed by cardiac failure and arterio sclerosis. John and Louisa Blaylock are buried at St. Johns Norway Cemetery, Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada.
