A death registration was found for Herbert Jordan: Estimated Birth Year: abt 1866; Year of Registration: 1895; Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar; Age at Death: 29; District: Battle; County: Sussex, East Sussex; Volume: 2b; Page: 51. (Lambeth Union, R.O.'s Spec. Report 4509)

Lily Jordan was admitted to Lambeth Workhouse on June 17, 1897. Her brother, Herbert, had been previously admitted on August 13, 1896.

Louisa Jordan died September 30, 1899. Her older sister, Jessie, was residing at 46 Saltoun Road, Brixton.

Lily and Beatrice discharged to Barnardo Homes on May 28, 1902.

In 1902, Lily Jordan, 10 (along with sister, Beatrice Jordan, 11) arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 395 Barnardo children en route to Toronto and Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

In Barnardo's Ups & Downs, Liverpool Series Vol X - No2 Toronto May 1904, Pg. 70 - 77, it was reported that Lily and Beatrice Jordan were visited recently by Miss Gibbs. Both girls doing well. Both are in Welland County. Lily is with Mr and Mrs. McClive, not far from the big city of Buffalo.

On December 21, 1921, at Grantham, Lincoln, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Lillian Rose Jordan, 28, home duties, born in England to Herbert Thomas Jordan and Louisa Giles; and David Sloan, 27, laborer, born in Ireland to William John Sloan and Emma Jane Crawford. Lily's brother, Herbert thomas Jordan was a witness to the marriage.
