NotesFrederick was Stated as being 6yrs old on the 1901 census living with his parents, and also my Nan aged 19 and younger sister aged 4. His Mum died a short while later, his father remarried but died in 1907, after having more babies. I have no knowledge of where Frederick was between 1901 & 1916 when he enlisted [in 1915 at Glenboro Manitoba].

What makes me think he could be a home child - he has Never used his 2nd name, and never corrected the spelling of the town or area he would have lived in.
