NotesGeorgina sailed to Canada on the 25th September 1902, she arrived in Portland,Maine. I do not know who or how Georgina was sent to Canada but she was amongst a (party in transit) of children sent by Dr Barnardo. Georgina was my great aunt and the sister of Bertha Cox who was sent to Canada in 1903. I do not know if the sisters ever found each other or what happened to Georgina after she landed at Portland but think she went overland on the train to Montreal. Georgina also had two brothers living in England (both were in Childrens Homes) and one other sister, Beatrice who was my great grandmother.
