On June 5, 1900, at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a marriage was registered between Jane Hamilton, daughter of the late Thomas Hamilton and late Ellen Sullivan; and Thomas (Ruben) Geeves, son of William Geeves and Charlotte Longford.
Thomas and Jane Hamilton Geeves had at least nine children: Marion Margurite Geeves, born November 4, 1905; Mary Dorothy Geeves, born October 4, 1908; Theresa Geeves, born July 24, 1915; Mary Ellen Geeves, born March 23, 1907; Thomas William Geeves, born June 21, 1901; Mary Violet Charlotte Geeves, born October 24, 1917; Jane Geeves (also known as Jennie), born April 20, 1913 (who died December, 1922, at the age of 9 years); Gerald Edward Geeves, born 1911 (who died January 2, 1945, while serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force--he his buried in Durnbach War Cemetery, Germany); and Thomas Joseph Geeves, born January 2, 1904.
