1901 Canadian Census records place Albert Parson as the Adopted Son of Mary and George Otterson in Russell, Gloucester, Ontario. Albert was noted as having been born 27 Sep 1885 in Ontario, being Roman Catholic and of English descent.

1911 Canadian Census records placed Albert Pardon as a Lodger in the household of Annie and Hugh Daniels in Elk City, Nipissing, Ontario. Having been born in Sep 1885, he immigrated from England in 1898. His brother, John Pardon was on the same Census page as a Lodger in the household of Agnes and Samuel Johnson.

Attestation papers were signed 1 May 1916 in Elk Lake, Ontario. Albert Pardon was born 27 Sep 1885 in London, England. He was a Miner in Elf Lake, Ontario by trade. His Next of Kin was his Sister, Mrs. W. F. Robinson of 938 Dovercourt Road, Toronto, Ontario. 5'5" in height with blueish grey eyes and dark brown hair, he had a small round blue India Ink mark in the center back of his right forearm. His religion was listed as Presbyterian.

Commonwealth War Graves Registers and Circumstances of Casualty notes that he died of wounds, and that he had previously been reported dangerously wounded from a gunshot wound to the back. He died at Number 3 Canadian Casualty Clearing Station. His Sister Mrs. W. F. Robinson of 415 Delware Avenue, Toronto, Ontario was confirmed as his Next of Kin. He was buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery,
Poperinge, West Flanders, Belgium. Plot 27, Row A.A., Grave 1.

Nelly came to Canada in 1910 abroad the Tunisian, departing Liverpool, England on 30 Jun 1910. In 1911 Nelly can be found working as a Domestic in the household of William Gurney at 161 Spadina Street, Toronto, Ontario. The 1911 Census confirms her birth month as March. 16 Oct 1915, Nelly Pardon married Forest W H Robinson. She notes her parents as Eliza Jarvis and Albert Pardon. In the 1921 Canadian Census Nellie and Forest H. Robinson are at 415 Deleware Avenue, Toronto, Ontario. Nellie states that she immigrated from England in 1911. In residence are their children Edward F (5) and John William (2). Forest was a Woodworker by trade. Nellie was Next of Kin for her brother, Albert Pardon upon his death on 16 Nov 1917.
