NotesFrederick Parsons was admitted to Lambeth Workhouse on March 28, 1891, and transferred on April 1, 1891 to Norwood Schools. His mother, Bertha, had left him with Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts of 33 Brailsford Road, Brixton. Nothing further was known as to the whereabouts of his mother.

Frederick was discharged to Barnardo Homes on August 1, 1900.

In 1900, Frederick Parsons, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 101 Barnardo boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Frederick Parsons returned to England on May 14, 1901, on the ship Parisian.

Frederick Parsons has been returned to England by Mr A B Owen, superintendant of Dr Barnardos Agency, on account of his suffering from nocturnal eneursis
