In 1906, Charles Constant, 11, arrived at Portland, Maine, USA, along with a group of 188 children en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In 1911, Charles T. Constant, 17, was shown as a labourer on farm for James McLest and family in Caledon, Peel, Ontario, Canada. His date of birth was shown as June 1893 and his immigration year as 1905.

On January 21, 1915, Charles T. Constant enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces (Service Number: 4327; Force: Army; Unit: Canadian Infantry (Western Ontario Regiment); Division: 1st Bn.) Private Charles Trevyllian Constant died March 3, 1916 in Belgium. He is buried at ST. QUENTIN CABARET MILITARY CEMETERY, Belgium (Grave Reference: I. A. I.).

William and Harriet Constant, Charlie's parents, immigrated to Wardsville, Ontario, Canada from their former home in Northfleet, Gravesend, Kent, England.
