Notes In 1884, James Ralph, 14, arrived at Rimouski, Quebec, Canada, in a group of 51 young persons sent by Boards of Guardians, accompanied by Miss Edwards and en route to various places. Upon arrival in Canada, James Ralph was sent to M. Louisa, Superioress, St. Nicholas Institute, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
