Notes In 1884, Richard Regan, 14, arrived at Rimouski, Quebec, Canada, in a group of 51 young persons sent by Boards of Guardians, accompanied by Miss Edwards and en route to various places.

Richard Regan, aged 16, from parishes of St. Giles-in-the-Fields and St. George, Bloomsbury, placed with Mr. R. Regan, Orillia. Taken first by Mr. Sullivan of Orillia, who kept home for a year, and not suiting, he was transferred to Mr. Regan, has a good home, and is now earning wages."
