NotesIn 1883, William Larkin, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 26 Catholic children from Prescot Union Board of Guardians and en route to Father Whelan at St. Patrick Orphanage, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Report of Mr. W. J. Wills, Government Immigration Agent at Ottawa, Ontario.

William Larkin, from Prescot Union, placed with Widow James Barnett, Ashdad P.O., Co. Renfrew, Ontario. Is a remarkably biddable good boy, in a very comfortable home, in his present place since 1st July last, at $4 month, with board, &c."
