Notes Sent by Bristol Union
with Myles McRea, McDonalds Point, Queens, NB
August 6 1902
Age 12, comfortable home, employed at farm work, healthy, attends Free Baptist Church, not school which is half a mile distant, "I do not send, nor do I intend to send him to school" his employer says, obedient, terms-no definite agreement.
This boys situation is not satisfactory to me. I believe the work is too hard for him. He would like to attend school for a while. One occasion he ran away, as a result of something Mr McRea said to him. He says he would like to get an easier place, in fact he repeated this request to me several times.
