August 15 1902, with T W Hoyt, farmer, Blissville, Kings, NB
Age 16, Ernest King is a steady energetic young fellow. He receives nominally no wages here, but has earned a few head of cattle.
Mr Hoyt describes him as " a first class boy" and " that there is not a lazy hair in his head" The boy is quite contented and thinks he will hire out for the winter months when the work is slack on the farm and return to Mr Hoyt in the spring. He is quite capable of taking care of himself.
