Notes In 1887, John D'Arcy, 12, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 73 children from the Canadian Catholic Emigration Committee, Archbishops House, Westminster, London, England, accompanied by Rev. Thomas Seddon and en route to Ottawa and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

John Darcy, aged 13. From parish of St. Marylebone. Placed with Father Chaine, Arnprior, Ontario.?Called on the Rev. Father Chaine, and was directed by him to call on Stephen Grace, baker, of Arnprior, with whom he said the boy lived; Mr. Grace knew nothing of the lad, and I could not find his whereabouts."
On March 16, 1927, John William D'Arcy, 56, banker, along with wife, Muriel V. D'Arcy, 48, and daughter Barbara, 18, arrived at London, England, on the ship Antonia, along with their daughter, Barbara. He declared that his country of last permanent residence had been the USA. The family returned to Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on May 13, 1928, on the ship Caronia.
