Notes In 1887, George Hayes, 16, arrived in a group of 73 children from Canadian Catholic Emigration Committee, Archbishops House, Westminster, London, accompanied by Rev. Thomas Seddon, and en route to Ottawa and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Geo. Hayes, aged 16. From Woolwich Union. Placed with Mr. Lawrence Mansion, House, York P.O.?A good steady lad, and well liked. Is working for regular wages."
