Notes In 1887, Francis McGrath, 15, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 10 boys accompanied by Cardinal Manning en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Francis McGrath, aged 15. From Brentford Union. Placed at St. Nicholas Institute, Lombard St., Toronto.?A rather stupid lad. Has had several places, but does not stay long in any of them. Is at present out of work, and staying at the Institute."
