Notes In 1887, Thomas Quinn, 13, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 10 boys accompanied by Cardinal Manning en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Thomas Quinn, aged 13. From Woolwich Union. Placed at St. Nicholas Institute, Toronto.?A very good lad, and well spoken of by the Sisters of the Institute, where he boards. Is working at the biscuit factory."
