Notes Sent by West Ham Union
with Robert Perrault, farmer, P.O Orleans, Carleton, Ontario
November 30 1900
Age 12, comfortable farm home, employed at light farm work, good health, attends Roman Catholic Church, attended school during last winter, character good, terms-Board and Clothing. This lad has a very comfortable home here. The Perraults spoke well of him. They say he is a "clever boy" and his school teacher gave a good report of him. His eyes trouble him more or less, and he finds some difficulty in reading at close range. There is apparently no symptom of any affliction of the eyes, and it is in my opinion more of a natural defect-if it might be so termed. He is contented and not overworked.

Until a week since with Robert Perreault, Orleans, Carleton, Ontario
April 3 1902
Age 14, Hallicey has deserted his employer. He informs me that he could not get along with Mrs Perreault, He was well used by his employer during the three years he was there. He is at present at New Orpington Lodge, Hintonburgh-will be found another situation-a stout, robust boy and should do well on a farm
