Age 14, good home, employed at light farm work, excellent health, attends Roman Catholic Church, not school, character-a reliable, truthful lad. Terms-Board and Clothes. Newman says that he is well treated, and would not like to leave this place; he had no complaints. He gives his employer good satisfaction, and she appears to take a great interest in him.

Age 16, he is doing very well indeed, is quite a strong boy. He does general farm chores both indoors and outdoors. I observed that they were not at all anxious that he should leave their employ. He goes to mass every second Sunday. His situation might be greatly improved upon. I think he should receive wages.
