Notes Sent by Medway Union
with Mrs McKeown, (Agent Canadian Pacific Railway) P.O North Bay, District of Nipissing, Ontario
September 6 1900
Age 13, good home, employed at house work and care of children, good health, attends Roman Catholic Church and separate school, character good, terms-board and clothing. Mary Carey appears to be quite happy and contented here. She is treated as one of the family. Mr and Mrs McKeown speak well of her and state that she gives them good satisfaction. She is a bright and intelligent girl, and has, I am of the opinion, been well placed.
