Notes In 1905, James Mulvaney, 15, arrived at Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 55 children from the Catholic Emigration Association (Rev. George V. Hudson, Coleshill, Birmingham) en route to St.George's Home, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, accompanied by Mr. J.L. Harrison and Mr. Patrick Kavanagh.
In 1906 Bernard Henson wrote to Mr. Thomas back at the Home in England:
Co Renfrew.
"One of the boys who came out with me lives only a little way from me and had a little while ago he got a kick from a horse which broke his arm. His name is James Mulvaney from St. George's Industrial School, Liverpool."
