He was described as 5 foot 2 inches in height; ruddy complexion; brown eyes; reddish brown hair.
On July 30, 1919, at the Village of Dehli, Norfolk, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between James Bishop, 21, laborer, born in England to William Bishop and Rebecca Bowen; and Myrtle Reece, 22, born in Windham Township, Norfolk, Ontario, Canada, to Collin Reece and Marcie Mudge.
