Leopold married Rose Berry in August 1913 in Islington, England.

Rose died of tuberculosis in 1916 at the age of 24 leaving a 2 year old daughter Alice.

Leopold served as a gunner in World War I. had a son James. They were divorced a few years later.

On December 25 1919, Leopold Bourdice, 25, Colour Dyer, son of Lionel Bourdice, deceased, married Hettie Hastie at St Andrew's Church, Islington, England.

Leopold and Hettie Bourdice had one son, James. They were divorced a few years later.
