Notes Sent by Whitechapel Union, placed with James Quinn, farmer, Bowesville, Carleton, Ontario
September 6 1902
Age 16, he was re-placed during the present year with the above farmer. The Superintendant advises me that he ran away from Mr Quinns some time ago, and that he has no knowledge of his whereabouts. He will, however, advise the Department as soon as he locates him.
December 31 1902
I have located this youth today with one Mulligan, Manctick, Carleton, Ontario, he has a suitable place and is well settled-is only a fair type receives $40 per year wages. Flahavan claims to be out of the Societys control. His employer speaks well of him.
