Notes Sent by Greenwich Union
with Stephen Driscoll, Stagburn, Ottawa, Quebec
November 7 1902
Age 13, satisfactorily placed, employed at general work, good health, attends Roman Catholic Church, character-well behaved, restless, this boy has shifted about considerably since coming to Canada and does not appear to have been able to stay for any length of time in a situation. He was originally placed with one McLaughlin of Venosta leaving there he next turned up at one Dryans and subsequently at this address. He remained here from July to April, departing about daybreak without giving Mr Driscoll any notice or information as to where he intended going. Mr Driscoll says that upon learning that the boy was across the river somewhere, he sent word to him that he would like him to return. Taylor agreed to do this but failed to materialize. I have been unable to locate him.
