Notes On 12 Dec 1892, Alfred Munro was admitted to St Vincents Orphanage, he was transferred on 30 January 1896 to
St Charles Orphanage until he was discharged on 18 July 1900 'Emigrated to Canada'
Father John, deserted
Mother whereabouts unknown
Placed with Thomas McCourt, farmer, Douglas, Bromley Twp, Renfrew, Ontario
September 11 1902
Age 15, good home, employed at general farm work, good health, attends Roman Catholic Church, fair character
Terms-$3 per month, board and clothing. Munro's relations with the female portion of the household are not agreeable, and they complain of his temper and 'back talk'. I fear that he has been permitted to have his own way too frequently. He is quite obedient, however to his employer. He is said to be a fairly good worker and has good advantages, as his employer is an industrious man
