Notes In 1886, Ellen Quinn, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 71 children from the Liverpool Catholic Children's Protection Society, accompanied by a Mrs. Lacy and en route to Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

"Ellen Quinn, aged 11, from parish of Liverpool, placed with Edmond Barry, Queensbury P.O., lot 18, 10 Con., Madoc Tp. Giving full satisfaction, well treated, will attend school, is in 3rd reader. Report by Miss Barry, sister of Edmond."
