NotesIn 1912, James Jardine, 16, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 12 boys who were en route to Cossar Farm, Receiving Home and Distributing Centre for Scotch Lads, near Lower Gagetown, New Brunswick, Canada.

James was remembered on a monument to the Cossar Farm boys who served in the Great War, both to those who died and those who returned to the farm and later died in New Brunswick.
