In 1905, Albert Henry Kent, 13 (along with brother, George Anthony Kent (as written on ships manifest), 12) arrived at Quebec, Canada, with a group of 53 children from Fegan's Homes, 95 Southwark Street, London to 295 George Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and accompanied by F. G. Jarrett, aged 34.

[EDITORS NOTE: Jonathan Kent must have died between 1902-1904, though no death record has been found. This is substantiated by documentation that Annie Louse Kent is shown remarrying in 1906 in Soutwark, London, England, to Raphael Henry Spencer.]

In 1911, Albert Kent, 21, was shown as a domestic / labourer to John and Margaret McTarisch of Southwold, Elgin West, Ontario, Canada. His date of birth is shown as November 1890 and his immigration year as 1909.

In May, 1914, Albert Henry Kent, 23, entered the United States through Port Huron, Michigan. He declared that he was a laborer; that he resided in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada; that his contact in England was his mother, Annie Kent, who resided at Vassal Road, Braxton, London, England; that his final destination was Battle Creek, Michigan; that he carried $26 on his person; that he had not been into the United States before; that he was going to visit his brother, Jno. Kent at 299 Champion, Battle Creek, Michigan; that he did not intend to remain; and that he emigrated to Canada in May, 1905, on the Southwark from London, England.

On August 30, 1915, at Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, Albert Henry Kent, 25, enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. He declared that he was born in London, England; that his next of kin was his mother, Annie Spencer, who resided at 21 Maude Street, Camberwell, London, England; that his date of birth was July 2, 1890; that he was an auto tire finisher; that he was not married; and that he had previously served in the A. S. C. for 2 weeks. He was described as 5 foot 7-3/4 inches in height; fair complexion, blue eyes, fair hair. He was a member of the Church of England.

On November 28, 1922, at Preston, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Albert Henry Kent, 32, furniture finisher, born in London, England, to Jonathan Kent and Annie Dickie; and Fleeta Stepler, 25, machine operator, born in Preston, Ontario, Canada, to Charles Stepler and Lydia Hoffman.
