Madam Larose, Coteau Landing, Quebec. Inspection undertaken on 14 September 1898
Age about 13, home fair, a large boarding house, employed at general house work, health good, Roman Catholic Church, character good, very tidy, no bad companions. Adopted although no papers made out. The boy says he is satisfied with his place. Mrs Larose has no complaints, says she treats him as one of her own children. Says she will send him to school next winter.
