Age 13, comfortable farm home, works about the stable and helps to feed cattle, health good, attends Church regularly, no school , character very good, was hard to manage at first, now doing well. Terms - Board, Lodging and Clothing, wages at 16-Gives satisfaction. This boy says he will not remain in Canada after May, as he intends to make his way back to his mother and sisters in England . He would not go to school. Neighbours say that the farmer and the boy are rough with each other.
