Notes In 1887, John Huskin, 9, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 96 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

John Huskins, aged 9. From parish of Liverpool. Placed with James Barrett, Bedford, Con. 4, Lot 2, Township of Stanbridge, County of Mississquoi, Province of Quebec.?Visited the above place, no such person as James Barrett there. No child from workhouse there."
