Notes In 1887, Margaret McMullen, 12 (along with brother, Adam McMullen, 8), arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 96 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Margaret McMullen, aged 12. From parish of Liverpool. Placed with Laurence Joice, of Joiceville Village, Birmingham, P.O.? Giving full satisfaction, in good home, well cared for, pleased with her home, not attending school, will send her. Joice thinks of removing to Michigan, United States."
