Notes In 1887, Ann Hagarty, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 96 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Ann Hagarty, aged 11. From West Derby Union. Said to be with Martin Dolan, 219, Princess St., Kingston.?M. Dolan was well pleased with this child. Transferred her to Edwd. Murphy, Port Dalhousie, where she has an excellent home and is giving full satisfaction."
