Notes In 1887, Robert Grant, 13, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 96 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Robert Grant, aged 13. From West Derby Union. Placed with Peter O'Connell, Lot 7 in 7th Con., Richmond, Forest Mills P.O.? Always truthful, self-willed at times, but generally giving satisfaction, not attending school, fairly educated, in good home, and well treated."
