Notes In 1887, Frederick Salt, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 129 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Fredk. Salt, aged 10. From parish of Stoke-on-Trent. Placed with John Walsh, Lot 17 in 9th Con., Camden Tp., Croydon P.O.?Well placed, and giving entire satisfaction, attending school, is in 1st reader."
