Notes In 1887, Patrick Cummings, 16, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 96 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Patk. J. Cummings, aged 16. From parish of Liverpool. Placed with Timothy Collins, Lot 7 in 9th Con., Percy Tp., Hastings P.O.? Not clever, but willing and obedient, in excellent home, deficient in education, not attending school, will be sent in winter."
